Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Fleet Manager to oversee the daily operations of our mobile service fleet and technician team. This leadership role is critical in maintaining the functionality, safety, and compliance of all MH fleet vehicles. You will manage dispatch, support technicians, and drive operational excellence by making data-informed decisions to improve efficiency and reduce costs.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support your team of mobile technicians and a dispatcher

  • Oversee fleet utilization, maintenance, repairs, replacements, and disposals

  • Ensure all vehicles are compliant with local, state, and federal regulations

  • Collaborate with dispatch to ensure timely customer service and job scheduling

  • Maintain vehicle safety standards and cleanliness

  • Track and manage vehicle inspections, maintenance, and registration records

  • Assist in the design and build-out of new trucks for the MH Mobile Fleet

  • Address on-site concerns and provide real-time support to drivers and technicians

  • Analyze fleet performance and recommend cost-effective improvements

  • Communicate with the Truck Inventory Supervisor for regular bi-weekly truck inventory checks

  • Uphold all MH Policy Manual guidelines among direct reports

  • Keep clear and open communication with the Operations Manager to promote continuous improvement

  • Respond to phone calls and emails during regular business hours

  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of office and common areas

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in fleet management, dispatch, or technician leadership (mobile services or similar industry preferred)

  • Strong knowledge of vehicle safety and maintenance standards

  • Familiarity with DOT and other regulatory compliance standards

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills

  • Ability to work hands-on and assist with technician or dispatch duties when needed

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

  • Comfortable using fleet tracking systems, spreadsheets, and email platforms

Pay: $41,600.00 - $45,000.00 per year
